Bobby's Peace
Bobby's Peace is the story of World War II Flight Instructors William and Joe, who arrive in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, to teach Navigation to new recruits at a British Commonwealth Air Training Plan School after completing their first tours of duty in the hell of war overseas. They unknowingly take accommodations with the relations of Bobby Cavanaugh, a young boy over whose wartime death William feels especially distraught. When Joe becomes romantically interested in Rose, Bobby?s fiancee, proving to William?s chagrin that life does indeed go on, William reaches a crisis point. It?s only through the aid of Bobby Cavanaugh himself that William eventually begins to realize that peace can be attained, even in unlikely places.
